Family Dies In House Fire On Father’s Birthday
There was no fire sprinkler system in this barn-like residential structure built in the 1960’s. It also was devoid of basic smoke alarms or an escape plan in the event of a fire. All of the deceased are thought to have died because of smoke inhalation.
Fire Captain Jaime Moore said the family was found within several feet of the front door, making an effort to escape.
